Tucker County

House District 46 (all of Tucker county and part of Preston county) elects one member.

Stan Shaver earned a B from Life Gauge.  He introduced one Life Gauge bill in 2007, which earns a grade of A.  But his previous grade was a D, in 2004, so his average grade is currently a B.  In 2007 he was not willing to introduce a motion on the floor to discharge the Constitutional Revision committee in reference to HJR 18, which would remove the right to abortion and to abortion funding from the WV Constitution.  He is a Democrat from Tunnelton.  Contact him at Rt 1 Box 47B, Tunnelton WV 26446, or at 568-2696, and thank him for cooperating with Life Gauge.

Senate District 14 (all of Tucker, Preston, Barbour, Taylor and Mineral counties, and part of Monongalia and Grant counties) elects two members.

Dave Sypolt earned an A from Life Gauge.  He introduced Life Gauge bills in 2007.  He is a Republican.  Contact him at PO Box 5, Kingwood WV, 26537, or at 698-5299, and thank him for cooperating with Life Gauge.

Jon Hunter earned an F from Life Gauge.  He voted against an Informed Consent bill in Judiciary Committee in 2001.  The bill died by a 9-7 vote.  He is a Democrat whose term ends in 2008.  Due to his voting record, Life Gauge does not recommend that constituents write to him.
