House District 13 (northeast Putnam county, northern Mason county, and part of Jackson County) elects two members.

Brady Paxton earned an F from Life Gauge.  In 2006 he voted against a motion to dispense with committee reference, effectively killing a parental notification bill.  He is a Democrat.  Due to his voting record, Life Gauge does not recommend that constituents contact him.

Dale Martin earned an F from Life Gauge.  In 2006 he voted against a motion to dispense with committee reference, effectively killing a parental notification bill. He voted in favor of two harmful amendments to a Separate Offense bill (SB 566) on the floor in 2004.  Due to his voting record, Life Gauge does not recommend that constituents write to him.


House District 14, (western Putnam county and western Mason county) elects two members.

House District 19 (part of Putnam, Boone, and Lincoln counties, and all of Logan county) elects four members.

Lidella Hrutkay earned an F from Life Gauge.  In 2006 she voted against a motion to dispense with committee reference, effectively killing a parental notification bill.  In 2005 she voted against the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, after voting against the bill in committee.  In 2004 she voted for two damaging amendments to a Separate Offense bill (SB 566).  In 2002 she voted against an Informed Consent bill (SB 170) on the House floor, then voted against it again in 2003.  She is a Democrat.  Due to her voting record, Life Gauge does not recommend that constituents contact her.


Senate District 4 (all of Putnam, Mason and Jackson counties and part of Roane county) elects two members.

Karen Facemyer earned a D from Life Gauge.  For five years, beginning in 2002, Life Gauge asked her to introduce a Life Gauge bill.  She never did.  We finally quit asking.  She is a Republican whose term ends in 2008. Contact her at Rt 1 Box 142  Ripley WV 25271, or at 372-2260.  Ask her to cooperate with Life Gauge.
