Senate District 16 (part of Berkeley county and all of Jefferson county) elects two members.

Herb Snyder earned an F from Life Gauge.  On April 5, 2001, he voted against an Informed Consent bill in the Senate Judiciary committee.  It died by a 9-7 vote.  He is a Democrat whose term ends in 2012.
