House District 29 House District 29 (all of Fayette county, part of Clay county, and the western corner of Nicholas county) elects three members. Tom Louisos earned an A+ from Life Gauge. Having narrowly lost the primary election in 2010, Mr. Louisos has to sit out for two years. On February 24, 2010 Mr. Louisos introduced a motion to discharge a committee, in an attempt to pass a Constitutional Amendment that would stop state funding of abortions, and that would allow us to stop abortion when Roe v Wade is overturned. In 2006 he introduced a motion to dispense with committee reference, forcing every member of the House to go on record as either supporting the babies, or following the wishes of the Speaker. He is a Democrat. By introducing these motions, Mr. Louisos forces every House member to go on record as either voting for the babies, or voting for abortionists. It takes a lot of courage to make these motions. Even West Virginians for Life can't stand it that he puts everyone on record; WVFL pulled his endorsement in 2010, and helped to defeat him. Mr. Louisos' actions not only expose legislators; they expose supposed pro-life groups. Margaret Ann Staggers earned an F from Life Gauge. On February 24, 2010 he voted against a motion to discharge a committee, effectively killing a Constitutional Amendment that would stop state funding of abortions, and that would allow us to stop abortion when Roe v Wade is overturned. She is a Democrat. Contact her at RR 3 Box 461-A Fayetteville WV 25840, or 574-1787. David Perry earned an F from Life Gauge. On February 24, 2010 he voted against a motion to discharge a committee, effectively killing a Constitutional Amendment that would stop state funding of abortions, and that would allow us to stop abortion when Roe v Wade is overturned. In 2006 he voted against a motion to discharge a committee, effectively killing a parental notification bill. He is a Democrat. John Pino earned an F from Life Gauge. In 2006 he voted against a motion to dispense with committee reference, effectively killing a parental notification bill. He is a Democrat. He was elected to the House in 2010, and served previously in the House. The trajectory of these three delegate's rise to power is determined by the Speaker of the House, who uses this authority to convince delegates to vote as he wishes them to vote. West Virginia's unborn babies receive no justice in such a political system. To expose injustice, make it expose itself. Make the politicians vote. Make the motion. Ask a delegate in Beckley to introduce the motion that forces these delegates to vote. To write a letter to a delegate there, click here. |
