House District 12 

House District 12 (most of Jackson county) elects one member.

Mitch Carmichael earned a D from Life Gauge.  Beginning in 2007, every year he refuses to introduce a motion to force a floor vote to overturn the WV Supreme Court's Panepinto decision, which mandates abortion rights and abortion funding in West Virginia.  A Republican, he first served in 2001.   To write a letter to Mr. Carmichael, click here.
